Set it and forget it.
Set it
and
Forget it.
Watch the clock go ticktock and a 20-minute treadmill jog can feel like the Boston Marathon. Instead, try a countdown. Set a kitchen timer with the minutes you’re aiming to be active and go until you hear the alarm. When you can’t see the time, you’re more likely to concentrate on what you’re doing right

Nutrients aren’t like medications.
While medications are foreign intruders that work temporarily in acute situations (and often cause side effects), nutrients are already present in our body. By supplementing them in just the right amount, you’re simply helping your body reach its optimal efficiency. In fact, nutrients are the very fuel of optimal health!

Water Recommendation
How much is that really? 8 cups of water or ½ a gallon. This is the minimum recommendation.
Water makes up about 60% of our weight and 65-90% by mass of most human cells are water.
Unlike fat, water cannot be stored and thus needs to replenished-through adequate hydration. This is precisely why drinking at least 64 oz or 8 glasses of water/day is a healthy habit.
Water is especially crucial during weight loss because it helps remove toxins and other unhealthy substances stored in your fat cells. By staying well hydrated, your organs and systems can function properly.

Jogging for a longer life
Joggers have a 40-percent lower risk of dying at an early age than people who don’t jog regularly, according to Stanford University researchers. Runners are less likely to have cardiovascular problems or develop disabilities as they age. Motivate yourself to become fit by training for a 5K.

Do-Nut day
I heard that today was designated
National donut day!
I DO-Not agree. Instead of Do-nuts lets look at out spare tires around our waists and make better choices. No one needs or wants those chunks of fat and sugar on their BUTT, hips or thighs!
I propose that TODAY be National Choose Healthy snacks day!
Speaking of Healthy snacks--- I would like to offer a free yummy healthy snack from our program to anyone who shares this post/ Blog on their Facebook page. Just tag me in your post and I'll get it in the mail to you!
I love spreading the joy that I know now! Let's spread health!
